An authentic traditional Forge in beautiful surroundings was the perfect setting to learn some smithying skills. We discussed what I would like to make namely a bird bath and Alex expertly and patiently guided me through the whole process from start to finish which included the use of the forge , tools and techniques required to complete my project. I was made to feel completely at home and totally at ease under the masters watchful eye. My day flew by punctuated only by a stop for a brew and the great inclusive lunch.
